Music Trips

The Birmingham Symphony Hall

"On a school trip, Years 5 and 6 classes went to the Symphony Hall in Birmingham. During the trip, the children got to see the Orchestra play the "Ten Pieces". It was fantastic to hear live music that hadn't been recorded on a device. They also saw the CBBC presenter, Naomi Wilkinson. The children all felt the thrill of the Orchestra and they were speechless! At the start of the show, DJ World Champion, Mr Switch, made the children sing a couple of notes and he replayed them on a later song. Throughout the whole show, the children listened, astounded, to the brilliant music. So altogether, the trip was a success and it was an amazing exprience for all of them."
