Dear Parents and Carers

Here at Hassell, we are saying #HelloYellow for World Mental Health Day to show our children that they’re not alone with their mental health.

Over the last few months, the world has changed for us all and our children have done an amazing job of adapting.

The mental health and wellbeing of our students is incredibly important to us and we want #HelloYellow to be a day to bring everyone together to feel positive about the future, but most importantly to have some fun!

We are joining thousands of schools, offices and community groups on Friday 9th October by taking part in #HelloYellow and raising the profile of mental health and well being.

We want as many children as possible to wear yellow (or any bright colours) on this date and bring a £1 donation to school. The money raised will be split between YoungMinds.org and going towards buying mental health story books for our school.

We can’t wait to see you in your bright attire!

Regards,

Miss Dale (PSHE co-ordinator)
