All children in Reception and KS1 (Years 1 and 2) are entitled to universal free school meals, but they have to be applied for in KS2 (Years 3-6). However, if you fit the criteria below, we can also access additional funding for school and your child, regardless of your child's age.

Your child may be eligible for free meals and additional funding. If you fit the following criteria please click the link to take you to the online application. Alternatively, please contact the school office for confidential support.  All applications are confidential and we are happy to help with the process in any way we can. To be entitled you must be in receipt of one of the following:

• Child Tax Credit but DO NOT receive Working Tax Credit and your income is less than 16,190 pounds. (Please note anyone receiving Working Tax Credit, regardless of income, does not qualify)
• Income Support 
• Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
• Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
• The Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit
• Asylum Seeker

Even if your child would still like to bring their own sandwiches to school, please get in touch with the school office as being on free meals has added benefits regarding other funding.
