Year 5 and 6 Letters reach Department for Health
21 April 2015
Children in year 5 and 6 have written letters to support Tia Copsey in her campaign for the continuation of the drug Vimizin, a medicine which she has been trialling to help with Morquios Syndrome, the condition from which she suffers . Letters were presented to Paul Farrelly, Newcastle MP, before Easter and these have been sent to the Department for Health and NHS England. We have recieved a reply and are pleased that the consulation period for the drug has been reduced to 30 days. We are hoping that Tia and her family will hear shortly about the outcomes. Fingers crossed for positive news!
