Home Learning

Please find below the links for each year group for our home learning letters and activities. These can be completed in the children's work books that they have brought home or on paper. In addition to these activity ideas we also encourage the children to play board games, read stories, make models and have fun learning about things that they are interested in. These activities are intended to take the children up to the Easter holidays and more will be added as needed.

Learning for Life...

At Hassell we have created a curriculum to inspire our children, encourage creativity and independent learning and deliver high standards throughout. We believe in providing our children with an education that not only develops their key knowledge, skills and understanding but offers them a broad experience across a range of subjects.

Our curriculum is taught through a creative, topic based approach and has been designed to offer opportunities for children to use and apply their English and Mathematics skills, knowledge and understanding in other subject areas. As we prepare children for the future, Digital Literacy ensures they will use modern information and communication technologies across the curriculum.

Please use the links on the left of the page to find out more about the topic coverage in different year groups and further details for individual subject areas.
