Parking Update

It has been brought to my attention that there have been several incidents of dangerous parking in side roads surrounding our school. This has been a particular problem in residential areas such as Coronation Road and West Street where cars are being parked on double yellow lines and on pavements. This is restricting access for local residents and for pedestrians trying to use the footways. Whilst I fully appreciate the difficulty some parents are having with parking restrictions, please can i ask that families who drive to school take extra care to ensure that they park safely. I would hate for there to be any accidents resulting from this situation.
In order to help with parking places for school, governor Gary Wilson continues to be in contact with the local council to see if we can improve the situation in any way. Please get in contact with the school office if you are able to help with this matter. Thank you
