Congratulations to our Year 5/6 swimming team who won the Newcastle Schools Large schools Swimming Gala for the second year in a row. A fabulous team effort.
Christmas themed own clothes day Friday 16th December

The children may come to school in their own clothes with a Christmas theme. This may be items such as Christmas jumpers, t-shirts, socks, hats or Christmas decorations. The staff will be supporting the Save the Children Charity Christmas Jumper Day. If children wish, they may bring in a donation to add to this collection.

Children in need - own clothes day Friday 18th November

The school council have decided that they would like to support children in need. This year the children want everyone to wear 'what ever makes them happy' on Friday 18th November. This could be pyjamas, football kit, onesie, dress up costume, anything that the children are comfortable wearing. Suggested donation of £1.00
Dougie Mac Donation

The children and staff welcomed Chris Root into assembly today. Chris came on behalf of Dougie Mac to receive a cheque from school for £311.73. Well done to all the pupils and staff that joined in to raise this fantastic amount.

Halloween Disco
19 October 2016
The school Halloween Disco is on Thursday 20th October. Children in Nursery and Reception may come to school dressed in their costumes. Their disco time is 1.30 -2.30. Children in year 1/2 may bring their changes of clothes with them for their disco. Their disco time is 3.00 - 4.00 Year 3,4,5,6 children may return to school for their disco at 4.30 - 5.30 Children in years 1-6 should be collected from their usual places on the school playground at the end of the discos.
Teacher get 'Splatted' for Dougie Mac

Children raise £311 for Dougie Mac on Bring a Pound Day. As a result staff got 'splatted' with custard pies.
